Good choice on the non-crop, leaving in the water gives it a sense of location. Extra credit for a second pink shot too! I love exploring themes to their fullest.
Good call on leaving us a view of the water in photo #1...provides a sense of place. What I'm surprised at is what looks like a water-ski boat in the canal? Where are the gondolas?
Thanks Val, No, it's not a ski boat and I didn't see any of those. This is a personal transportation vessel and it is 'parked' at their front door. The blue is a cover to keep it dry until they need to travel. So many different type water vehicles around the city.
Great shots! I agree that the water should remain in the photo. I suggestion trying to crop just a bit on the left side to remove the blue top on the boat (but keep the front tip of it). That bright blue might be drawing attention away from the overall picture.
Wow these pink flowers are stunning, the are so vivid they scream for attention! Nice!
ReplyDeleteI was getting a sinking feeling about the Venetian Wall, but am glad to see your Pink Crop -When do you harvest?

ReplyDeleteThanks, I always need more credit.

ReplyDeleteYou are very right, John, the water needs to be left in the picture. It would not be the same without it. The colors are marvelous.
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I love both pictures and I think Karen is absolutly correct to give you extra credit on these two.
