VPW #04 (Doors and windows)

The frame is actually a view from under
a walkway overlooking Lake Mead.
You can see the brick supports on each
side and the bottom is a concrete walk.

  1. You shouldn't have told us John, we would all have marvelled at your creativity, and wondered about your Cubist "Q" frame, and seen you as truly Avante Gard. As it is it is just a tremendous Photo taken with a superb perspective and near perfect composition, so don;t be Disappointed to much LOL, Great Needs to be on a wall.

  4. You've got a good eye for composition. I really like the way you shot it through the window, and then had that feathery tree adding a second level of framing. It makes all the difference adding that additional interst to the scene.

  5. I love shots like this - making use of a natural frame. The colors are wonderful.

  6. The dark color of the frame works well with the dark skeleton of the tree and contrasts nicely with the background scene. Love the little angle in the bottom left corner.

  7. This is fabulous! LOVE that tree in the foreground and awesome idea of using the walkway as a frame. Had you intended to do that or did you decide after you downloaded the photo?

  8. That was the plan trying to get something with doors and windows theme. Just got lucky that it turned out the way.
